POLO Kuwait belies report of human trafficking
The new Philippine Labor Attache to Kuwait, Atty. Cesar Chavez, Jr., has debunked reports of sex-related and human trafficking activities in Kuwait perpetrated by personnel of the Philippine Overseas Labor Office, or POLO. Labor and Employment Secretary Rosalinda Dimapilis-Baldoz said this yesterday after she received the response of Labor Attache Chavez to her directive to comment on the reports published in the Philippines.
